celebrating thanksgiving together

we had matt's stepsister wendy and her kids with us on thanksgiving. paige stayed and posed with usfor a photo, chris left after dinner( he's 17.....). we all had a great time visiting and preparing the feast.matt stuffed the turkey and sliced the turkey. he was a big help. wendy brought a delicouis green bean casserole and sweet potato casserole. she makes a great sweet potato casserole. i have made her recipe ever since i tried it 4 years ago. thanks wendy! it takes alot of hands to make the meal soooo good. thanks mom and tom for a great day and visit.

Thanksgiving

well we had a great thanksgiving. we went to duluth minnesota to see matts mom and stepdad tom. we flew in wed. night and on our way to there house it was snowing. we got about an inch of snow that night. it was so pretty. we are thankful we could spend thanksgiving with his mom and tom. we almost missed our flight wed morning. I was running with my shoes in hand! not the funniest at 600 am! we had a busy stay. we went shopping on friday, decorated one of their christmas trees, went to see christmas lights at bentlyville, ate a ton of food( i think i gained 10 pounds while i was there) and we celebrated an early christmas. hope you all had a great turkey day as well. looking forward to christmas now. i don't have any photos as i left my memory card at home so i couldn't take pictures, and i need to practice loading the pictures on to here. hopefully pictures will be on here soon!

just getting started

Well I thought I would join the blog world. Hopefully I will have enough going on to keep it updated regularly. Check in often to see what is going on in the Ensworth household. Just a husband, wife, cat and a dog right now but we hope to fill up this house in the near future.
