A few weeks ago some of my dad's side of the family came down for a BBQ. My aunt Sharon is here visiting from Montana and Matt and I had not made it to Grass valley yet to see her. It was a nice time visiting with her and the first time my aunt Jeanie had seen my house. My Aunt Sharon comes every year in September to stay with my Grandma Del and to see the rest of the family. My Grandma Del is going to be 95 this January and is still living in her home on her ownand I am so thankful for that. It is getting harder and harder for her to get around so it was a real treat for me to have her make the trip down to Yuba for the day ( she didn't drive if anyone is wondering, although she just gave up her license about 1 year ago). She defiantly knows her limitations and gave it up on her own. Thank goodness for that!

this is my dad and his sisters and mom. I was so glad to get this picture because we never seem to remember to get a group picture with grandma del. I think it is really special to have a my dads mom and sisters together in a picture.
