Christmas Tree Hunt
We went to Butte Meadows for annual Christmas tree hunt. Matt LOVES searching and cutting down our Christmas tree every year. He does not want to ever go to a "farm" or parking lot to pick our tree. I love his desire to make it a fun and memorable experience every year. I missed last year because Sadie had her surgery a few days before the trip and I needed to stay at home to take care of her. This year we took her and Toby. They really enjoyed the snow. It was freezing up there but we found the perfect tree. It is much smaller then what we normally get, but so much easier to decorate and to fit in our living room. And we picked it out much faster too, i think the cold weather had a lot to do with that! It was a great day!
Warm and cozy in the back seat. All pooped out from the hiking in the woods.

What fun!!!! Cannot wait to see it decorated. We are finally getting our first storm, more wind than snow, although Tom has snowblowed twice today already.
You party at Jen & Mike's looked like a blast. How fun to go up to the mountains and cut your tree.
Love and hugs,
Mom & Tom
Looks like fun! Hey, where did Matt get the LP jacket? My mom worked for LP for over 25 years. Merry Christmas!
I want to go where you guys went to get our tree next year. We froze to the bone, but didn't get to enjoy the snow. Maybe we should do a group trip next year? Play in the snow and get a tree...sounds like fun to me.
